Inspiration behind the Theme:

I found this little vintage doll head at a local thrift store. This photo, with it's shadows of window blinds and the 1930's look of little "Matty" (for her matted hair) reminds me of those black-and-white movies with cigarette-smoking heroines and fast-talking newspaper reporters. The font, Courier, is a familiar typewriter text, completing the whole feel of the thing, see?!
